Sis Janet locked herself in the room, she made up her mind to end it all that day, enough is enough of all these challenges she was facing. Things must work in her favour, all this she was facing must stop. She got some ‘killer’ prayer points and was ready to kill them all, all the witches, house wickedness, ancestral spirit or whatever it may be. She started out praising the Lord then to giving thanks with the mind to move to the prayer that must kill them all, while she was giving thanks, something happened. She heard a voice loud and clear.
Janet, good you have prepared to war, but there is no witch, curse, ancestral spirit behind your case. It is the sting of your sins, the sin you commit as a lifestyle, that you see as your way of life. You know how you use your mouth to destroy relationships of others, how you lie conveniently making others pay for what they did not owe, you know how this your body had been a stumbling block to many young men in that church and in the department where you serve you are the one always raising conflict there. No devil to kill here, what you need to be delivered is genuine repentance. Isa1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Peace!
Sister Janet busted into tears. That was God’s mercy. She would have prayed and be convince that she had received her deliverance but nothing had really happened. But her case was not where she thought, her challenge was rooted in her sin not a devil known or known. The devil behind pursuing many people today is their sin but they are quick to point accusing finger to demon or witches. From mountain to crusade, have you check your life and had seen it that you are not the one behind the veil by your sin. Sister Janet knew she found mercy so she took advantage of it to say LORD I AM SORRY.1john 1:19
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
After a long hours of confession, and repentance, she felt forgive. Then she prayed the Holy Spirit to help her change for good. This she consciously followed and all that seemed like a mountain before her was leveled. Check your life as well and see that it is not your sin that is really the issue. Then you can go ahead and “kill the devil.” Hallelujah!
